Greenfields Consultancy was established by me, Edward Bourke, following 20 years’ experience in export market development, working as Global Development Manager with several multinational companies.
Much of my work and global travel has been in the EU, UK, Eastern Europe, USA, Canada, Central and South America, South East Asia, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. As a result, I have a good ability to work with people of many nationalities, in a productive and efficient manner. My work experience has allowed me to be understanding of different cultures and the nuances of doing business with different nationalities. I also have built up a considerable contact list, that allows me to have a direct entry point, into many markets.
Being born on a dairy and beef farm has given me a great background to explore the Agri-Business sector. I have practical and hands on experience of the Global Agricultural Industry in particular, working within technology, software, machinery, genetics, feed and fertiliser sectors of agri-business.
Working to achieve success for the companies I represented, I have networked extensively with C- Level Executives, Government Departments, Embassies and Government bodies.
I also work with Local Enterprise Offices, mentoring small companies on export market development, across a variety of industry sectors.
I am an Athletic Scholarship graduate of IONA University, New York, USA in International Business and Relations
